I began The Trial of ABLE absolutely sure I knew what was going to happen; I was completely, happily wrong.
Christopher Fryer took me on a thrilling ride that was at times poignant and at other times absolutely terrifying. I found myself eagerly anticipating each new episode and he never disappointed.
ABLE is the sum of all of our hopes and fears regarding robotics and AI. Will our own creations overtake us or can we live in peace with them as helpful assistants for a better life? A question many of us ask...and one Christopher Fryer answers ingeniously in this dark, mind-bending narrative.
